Chef Stuart Roger
As the Executive Chef of Waldorf Astoria Cancun, Chef Roger is at the helm of our resort’s expansive culinary program, ensuring that every dining experience is exceptional and memorable for our guests. With over two decades of culinary expertise in luxury hospitality, Chef Roger brings knowledge and creativity to our kitchens. Hailing from Evian, France, Chef Roger’s journey in the culinary arts began at the prestigious Lycée Hôtelier Savoie Léman hotel school in Thonon-Les-Bains, where he specialized in Hotel Management and Culinary Arts. From there, his culinary career took him across the globe, from Rocco Forte Hotels’ kitchens to the French Riviera’s renowned properties.
With roles ranging from Chef’s Assistant to Executive Chef, Chef Roger has honed his skills in crafting exquisite dishes and managing culinary teams. Before joining Waldorf Astoria Cancun, he held leadership positions at Quinta Real Monterrey Hotel, Neptune Restaurant at Villa del Arco Cabo San Lucas, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, and One&Only Resorts. At Waldorf Astoria Cancun, Chef Roger is dedicated to sourcing sustainable ingredients and creating gastronomic experiences that delight the senses and elevate the dining journey for our guests. His passion for the culinary arts shines through in every dish, embodying the spirit of excellence and innovation that defines Waldorf Astoria.
